How to use this itinerary
This is an illustrative route, not a fixed promise. The skipper and charter operator must adjust it for the yacht, weather, crew, local rules and safe overnight options.
Day 1 — St Martin: board and confirm formalities
Complete provisioning and the technical briefing, then verify the current clearance process, operating limits and weather outlook before committing to another island jurisdiction.
Day 2 — Grand Case, Tintamarre or the northeast coast
Use a local first day to settle the crew and assess conditions. Select the stop for shelter and comfort rather than trying to cover distance immediately.
Day 3 — Gustavia, St Barts, if conditions suit
Make the open-water passage only with an appropriate forecast and completed formalities. Keep a St Martin alternative if swell or crew comfort argues against the crossing.
Day 4 — Colombier or another approved St Barts stop
A shorter day allows time to enjoy the island. Confirm anchoring or mooring rules and avoid assuming availability.
Day 5 — Return toward St Martin
Use this day to reduce exposure before adding Anguilla. A protected St Martin stop may be preferable if the next weather window is uncertain.
Day 6 — Road Bay, Anguilla, as a conditional option
Include Anguilla only after checking clearance requirements, time and conditions. Otherwise spend the final full day around St Martin.
Day 7 — Return to the charter base
Allow time for formalities, fuel and check-out. Do not plan an international return passage against a tight hand-back deadline.

Can we visit both St Barts and Anguilla in one week?
Often that is the ambition, but it should remain conditional. Weather, clearance timing and crew comfort can make a simpler St Martin and St Barts plan more sensible.
Are border procedures included in the charter price?
Do not assume so. Ask the operator which clearance fees, processes and documents apply for the intended route.
Is this suitable for guests prone to seasickness?
The exposed passages can be uncomfortable in swell. A shorter, more protected itinerary may suit the group better.
What is the main trade-off?
Three jurisdictions create variety, but also more formalities and fewer opportunities to improvise without checking the rules.
